Changing the Instance Type

  1. To change the Instance Type login into the AWS Management Console.

  2. Select the right AWS Region top right.

Select AWS Region

  1. Click top left on Services and go to Compute --> EC2 --> Instances.
Instances

  1. Make a right click on the Instance and Stop the instance.
Stop Instance

Attention

Stopping the instance may take 1-2 minutes.

Select AWS Region

  1. Make a right click on the Instance and click on Instance Settings --> Change Instance Type.

  1. Select the Instance Type you want and click on the button Apply.

  1. Make a right click on the Instance and Start the instance.
Start Instance

  1. Wait 1-2 minutes for booting the instance.
